The hotel was located adjacent to the Dordogne, rural France and restaurants. We were in the king room with an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. The food was freshly made, had a good choice of options.

The beds were comfy here, and the rooms were large. Particularly good location in lovely surroundings made it easy to get to key attractions.

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with ham, fresh croissants, and cheese; conveniently located near the Dordogne and surrounded by the beauty of rural France.

The rooms here are spacious, the double room comes equipped with amenities like an iron/ironing board, a work desk, and a lounge area, and the food offered is fresh with a variety of options.

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views, friendly and helpful owner, peaceful surroundings, delicious continental breakfast, homely and chilled out ambiance.

The bed & breakfast offers a delightful range of recreational amenities, including a seasonal outdoor pool. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the pool after a long day of meetings, allowing me to unwind and relax. The pool area is well-maintained, providing a serene environment amidst the beautiful surroundings of the chateau. It was truly a rejuvenating experience that added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.

The host, Albert, was friendly and helpful, even organizing local transport for our group. The continental breakfast with fresh croissants, homemade jams, and other delicious options was a delightful start to the day. The spacious and comfortable rooms made for a relaxing stay, and the large pool overlooking the lake was a picturesque sight. Despite the minor inconvenience of some restaurants being closed on Sundays and Mondays, Albert was able to recommend great dining options in the neighboring town. I highly recommend this charming chateau for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in the north of the Dordogne.

The owner, Albert, was super friendly and gave us the best tips for a wild time. We joined the guided wine-tasting tours and boy, were they a hoot! We sipped on delicious wine and laughed till our tummies hurt. And let's not forget the pôle loisirs! We ran through the graded fitness trails like champions, feeling like we were in some epic adventure movie. It was pure excitement from start to finish!

If there's one thing we would've loved to have at Chateau Du Bourbet, it would be a happening party spot. Don't get me wrong, the tranquility and peacefulness were great, but as wild teenagers, we craved a bit more action.

I absolutely loved the charming and traditional decoration of the hotel. The furniture and decor gave a sense of elegance and warmth throughout the common areas and my room. It felt like stepping back in time, which was truly enchanting. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with easy access to the rooms and no stairs to climb. It made my stay comfortable and worry-free.

I would have appreciated a little more assistance from the children working there. As a senior traveler, sometimes I needed a helping hand with my luggage or navigating the area.
